The action of the Mimizam Community of Communes is distinguished by its experience in Internet development. It ensures the creation of static or dynamic pages from design to execution, the management of servers, ensuring their ergonomics, the promotion of sites, or their statistical monitoring. A team of specialised co-ordinators forms the Internet development cell. The information is updated from Mimizan through a dedicated server. The Community of Communes has thus chosen technical mastery to offer you a high-performance service.
The resource centre on Internet: Mediaforest.net
 The Mimizan Community of Communes created the www.mediaforest.net general-purpose portal for the Landes pine. For the last five years it has enabled making numerous contacts with the French and foreign parties involved in the integrated chain and is visited more than 25000 times per month.
Participation in the Eurosilvasur European programme
The Aquitaine Regional Council and the Forestry Centre at Bordeaux have drawn full benefit from the work and experience of the Mimizan Community of Communes by associating it in the Eurosilvasur European programme for inter-regional co-operation in the field of forests and wood. The Mediaforest architecture served as medium for the creation on Internet of an economical management chart for the forests of Southern Europe, www.eurosilvasur.net.
Best territorial internet site
In 1999, www.mimizan.com was awarded the second prize for the best territorial internet site, a competition organised by AIT, la Lettre du Cadre territorial, Microsoft, France Télécom and Mercure.

The site development and co-ordination team:
- Stéphane Chiron
Manager of the server, the names of areas and the LAN, developer of the database, value added Web application, 3D infography. Former company founder.
- Delphine Tabard
Specialist in infography, Flash animation, Internet development, databases and site referencing. Training in Infography.
- Stéphanie Berbille
Head of site development and site architecture. Co-ordinates the partnership policy and defines the editorial line of the on-line paper of Mediaforest. Training in marketing.
- François Ducau
Head of the data processing department at the Mimizan mayor's office. Works on the territory broadband project and manages our data processing infrastructure (specialised link, overall network, equipment).
- Philippe Fouassier
Manager of the Athena multimedia training centre and heading of the training department.
